Jeffery Allen Laux

Jeffery A. " Jeff" Laux, 46, of Stanton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday

evening at home. Jeff was born on August 8, 1971 in Lansing the son of

James and Joyce (Elliott) Laux. He was currently working at Herbruck's

Poultry Ranch in Ionia. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and really

liked to cook. He loved time spent with family, especially his son and

extended family members. He will be greatly missed. Jeff is loved and

survived by his son; Tyler M. Laux of Sheridan, Tyler's mom De Anna

Swan, his mother and step father; Joyce (Donald) Jeffrey of Sheridan,

his brothers; Robert (Bonnie) Strouse, James Laux all of Sheridan, Stacey

Laux (Roy Matthews) of Lakeview, his step children; Christopher Nickels,

Brandi Pennington, Autumn Nickels, Samantha Wiser and David Wiser Jr.,

several nephews and nieces. Jeff was preceded in death by his father

James, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. In keeping

with his wishes cremation has taken place and a time to celebrate his life will

take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to his family. Envelopes will

be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care

was entrusted.
