Walter L. Graham, 76, of Ionia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, February 9, 2020. Walter was born on May 13, 1943, the son of Walter Sr and Ardis (Holiday) Graham. Walter left school in the 10th grade to help his mother with his siblings, on November 30, 1963 in Palo, he married Delores Miller and together they have enjoyed 56 years of marriage.
A huge sports fan, Walter loved anything competitive. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing pool, card games, and baseball. The Detroit Tigers were his favorite team, and he would always watch the games with his daughter, Lucinda. Even when the Tigers were losing and he was mad at them, he never shut the game off! Walter also liked to hunt and fish, tinker on cars and really enjoyed scaring Delores when she was doing the dishes! Walter could fix anything, you only had to tell him once what was wrong with something, and he would have it fixed the first time. He was a great man, and he will be missed.
