Vivian D. Messenger 78 of Belding went to be with her Lord on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Vivian was born on August 8, 1941 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of William and Ila ( Randall) Ward. She was a member of the New Hope Church of God, Belding and had served as an associate Chaplin with Trinity Ministries. Vivian was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association since 1997 and really enjoyed riding motorcycle, especially the many trips with her motorcycle friends. She will be greatly missed by and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was married on August 21, 1982 in Lowell to Archie Messenger.
Vivian is loved and survived by her husband Archie and their children;Thomas( Heather ) Mount, AJ ( Pam) MacLaren all of California, Kristie ( John) Davis of Freeport, IN., Kelly ( Daryl) Rinaldi of Kentwood, Daniel ( Niki) Messenger of Wayland, Christie Johnson of Lansing, Jamie Tayler of Bitley,MI., Cecile ( Jeff) Fotiu of White Lake, MI., 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, eleven siblings, one adopted sister and Noland and Alicia Munger, her special friends and caregivers. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings. In keeping with her wish’s cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating her life will be 11:00 AM on Saturday January 25, 2020 at New Hope Church of God, Belding with Pastor Greg Merren officiating. A time of visitation will be one hour before the service at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the New Hope Church of God, Belding. Envelopes will be available at the church and or Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where cremation services were entrusted.
