Steven Paul Ciganick

In memory of Steven Paul Ciganick, age 50, of Ionia, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, after battling health issues, surrounded by his family. Steve was an avid Michigan fan and enjoyed cheering them on. He also enjoyed family gatherings, going to the casino, playing cards with friends, watching movies and reciting lines from movies. Steve enjoyed playing scratch-off tickets and making up rhymes with each ticket.  Steve worked as a Concrete Masonry Construction Worker and took pride in his work. He was always willing to help someone with a project around their home. He joins his mother, Judy (Mario) and father, Paul; Aunt Theresa and Uncle Doug; and close cousin Jake Rigdon. He is survived by his four children, Meagan, Colyn, Tristin, and Jordyn; grandson, Wesley David; siblings, Missy Ciganick Miedema, and Joseph (Michelle) Ciganick; Aunt Anne; uncles, Gary (Pam), and Bob (Paula); former wife, Sam Ciganick; and several loving cousins. Graveside services for Steve will take place at Balcom Cemetery on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the needs of the family. A luncheon and time of fellowship at Rennucci’s Restaurant in Ionia will follow immediately following the service. Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home is serving the family.
