Shirley V. Shaw-Darrow, 85, of Belding, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at home. Shirley was born on April 9, 1935 in Belding, the daughter of Charles C. and Evelyn M. (Rich) Pearce.
She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1954. During her working years she worked at Jolly Kids in Belding for many years and later at the Meijer store in Greenville. She was a longtime member of the New Hope Church of God, Belding where she helped in all church activities including funeral luncheons and the Women’s Club. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family.
Shirley is loved and survived by her children; Jeff Shaw of Belding, Cathy Jo (Bill) Hill of MA, Karen Pugsley of Belding, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a sister Marcia Pearce of Belding. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Jerry L. Shaw, second husband; Charles Darrow and a step son; Robin Darrow.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday January 22, 2021 at New Hope Church of God, Belding with Pastor Greg Merren officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Private interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorials may be given to the New Hope Church of God or the Belding Museum. Envelopes will be available at church or at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
