Rosetta M. Jeffrey

Rosetta M. Jeffrey, 86, of Belding died unexpectedly Friday morning May 15, 2020 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Rosetta was born on July 6, 1933 in Belding, the daughter of Homer and Dora (Meyers) Whitney.

She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1951 and in earlier years had worked at Jolly Kids until she was married. She was always ready to go shopping, she loved camping and fishing at Houghton Lake. She enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river flow by and looking out at all her beautiful flowers especially the purple ones. She was happiest just being with her family and enjoying life. Rosetta attended Family Life Center Church of God in Belding.  She was married on December 16, 1978 to Marlin Jeffrey in Belding.

Rosetta is loved and survived by her husband Marlin and their children; Kim (John) Watson of Phoenix, AZ., Tammi (Charles) Bow, Lori Hawes(Terry Headley) both of Belding, Joseph (Mickey) Stephan of Carson City, Marlin (Wendy) Jeffrey Jr. of Greenville, Marcia (Jerry) Ritzenhein of Rockford, her grandchildren; Kevin Packard, Cassandra Crooke, Chelsea Bow, Jeffrey Sanders, Brandon Cook, Jeremy Sanford, Devin Hawes, Michael Stephan, Olivia Stephan, Thomas Jeffrey, Justin Van Acker and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Teri Harriman and three brothers: Harold, Don and Dick.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday May 20, 2020 at Family Life Center Church of God,  Belding with Pastor William Overton officiating. Committal prayers will follow in Greene Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM  at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. At visitation, please wear a mask and note only ten people at a time  will be able to be in the funeral home during public visitation time. Memorials may be given to the Family Life Center Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
