Ronald J. “ Ronnie” Franklin, 21, of Greenville died unexpectedly Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Greenville. Ronnie was born on December 18, 1999 in Greenville, the son of Erin Franklin and Joseph Wanamaker. In earlier years he attended Greenville Public Schools. Ronnie enjoyed music, especially rap and had a big interest in crystals, wizardry and the supernatural. While he had an independent nature, he loved his family and will be greatly missed. Ronnie is loved and survived by his parents; Erin Franklin of Gowen and Joseph Wanamaker of Irons, siblings; Sharon Habegger of Trout Creek, MT., Kendra Franklin of Gowen, Kierra Wanamaker of Baldwin, grandmother Deborah Hesselink, great-grandmother Jan Jones both of Belding, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Richard Jones, grandparents, Ronald Franklin, Roger Wanamaker and grandmother, Vicky Jones-Franklin. A time to celebrate his life will take place later this year. Memorials may be given in his name to the American Diabetes Association or to the family at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where cremation services have been entrusted.
