Robert P. Haines

Robert P. “Bob” Haines, 63. of Belding passed away Sunday September 12, 2021, at Spectrum Health- Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids.  Bob was born July 20, 1958, in Greenville, the son of Marvin and Irene ( Henry) Haines. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1976  and later had worked for 34 years at Root-Lowell. He enjoyed  watching sports, especially football and baseball. He was a big University of Michigan fan as well. Bob was a longtime member of Smyrna Bible Church. He is loved and survived by his sister; Tammy ( John) Foley of Grand Rapids, his nieces and nephew, Jessica Foley, Christine ( Brian) Fiest, John Foley III all of Grand Rapids, three great nieces, Emily, Alexis, Evelyn, his uncle Herb( Cheryl) Haines of Lowell and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 18, 2021, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Darwyn Hassert officiating.  Committal prayers will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Memorials may be given to Smyrna Bible Church or the American Diabetes Association.
