Ricardo Vidal Ramirez, 62, of Orleans passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Spectrum Health-Blodgett in East Grand Rapids. Ricardo was born on April 21, 1959, in Greenville, the son of Ramon and Mary (Weeks) Ramirez. He attended Belding High School with the Class of 1977 and went on to proudly serve in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division. In earlier years he attended Lansing Community College and Grand Valley State University. He was blessed with a creative mind especially in telecommunications, eventually owning his own company called Tru-View Communications. Ricardo enjoyed sports with his children when they were young and was a mentor to other children in the sports. His favorites were football and wrestling. Fishing and hunting were some of his other favorite past times. He was a past member of Shiloh Community Church. He is loved and survived by his children, Ricardo V. Ramirez II of Belding; Nicolas A. Ramirez of Dearborn Heights; Andrew C. Ramirez of Belding; Ashley C. Ramirez of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren Deshawn, Amayah, Jamal, his parents, Ramon and Mary Ramirez of Orleans; his siblings, Dr. Rose Ramirez (Dr. John vanSchagen), of Ada; Ramon (Elizabeth) Ramirez Jr. of Buckley; Betty Lou (Dr. John) Cottle, of Mendocino, CA; Roger (Judy) Ramirez, of Saranac; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 11:00AM Saturday October 9, 2021, at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor James Floyd officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Orleans Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the wishes of the family. Funeral care has been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
