Ray D. “ Doug” Harrington 78 of Greenville passed away Monday April 3, 2023, at Green Acres of Greenville. Doug was born on September 5, 1944, in Grand Rapids, the son of Ray and Wilma (Heyboer) Harrington. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1962 and later proudly served in the United States Navy. He attended Michigan Tech, Montcalm Community College and later graduated from Michigan State University. He had worked many years as a Corrections Officer for the State of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Daniel Harrington, Dale “ Bub” Harrington and his nephew Jason Stowell. Doug is loved and survived by his sisters, Charlotte “ Babe” Stowell of Orleans, Kathy (Claude) Clark of Ionia and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will take place at Orleans Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Hospice of Michigan. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
