Patrick Joseph Sower

Patrick J. Sower, 58, of Carrollton, Texas died unexpectedly, Sunday July 5, 2020 at home. Patrick was born on December 16, 1961 in Greenville, the son of Larry and Lois (Scheid) Sower. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1980 and later graduated from Central Michigan University in 1985. After college graduation, Patrick moved to Texas and enjoyed a successful career in property management. He played sports in high school and all his life enjoyed watching all types of sports. Patrick also enjoyed cooking and was known for some of his special culinary creations, especially his famous beef jerky. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Patrick is loved and survived by his son, Chase Patrick Sower of The Colony, TX, his parents; Larry and Lois Sower of Belding, his brother Tony (Lisa) Sower of Belding, Chase’s mother Tina Sower of The Colony, TX, his nieces and nephews; Jennifer (John) Wood, Michael Sower, Shelly Sower (Anthony), Taryn Sower (Nate), Mark (Kea) Sower, Ilene Sower, Tyler Sower, Chris Schlottog, and Chase’s aunt; Vicky (Ron) Roop of Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry in 2009. A Funeral Mass for Patrick will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding with Father Mark Bauer presiding. A time of visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2-5 pm at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Alvah N. Belding Library. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, during visitation and the funeral  we will observe social distancing guidelines and facial coverings are recommended.
