Obituary

Patricia Sue Wiggins, age 76 of Belding, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 Ionia.  She was born May 10, 1947, the daughter of Roy and Marcella (Shindorf) Sower.  She retired from Electrolux after many years of employment.  She loved tending to her flowers and gardening, and adored her two cats.  She had a hard time parting with her treasures, and collected many things.  Pat was the “cool grandma”, and enjoyed cartoons and hip hop music.  She also loved The Pioneer Woman and other cooking shows.  She loved being a grandma and great-grandma, and was truly loved by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Sower; son, John Wiggins; and brothers, Allen Brewster and Kenny Shindorf.  She is survived by her grandchildren, Joseph Sower, Jon (Haley Schnepp) Sower, Jennifer (Toby Warren) Sower, and Alli (Alden Palmeter) Sower; many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ellen Brewster. A memorial gathering for Patricia will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
