Patricia G Prinz

Patricia G. Prinz 91 of Greenville passed away Monday afternoon, March 20, 2023, at Maple Ridge Manor in Lowell. Pat was born on July 12, 1931, in Grand Rapids the daughter of Chester and Mildred (Shugh) Bigham. She graduated from Kellogsville High School and then started her first job in the accounting department of Standard Oil Co. in Grand Rapids. Later Pat stayed at home raising her three children. She enjoyed ceramics, painting on wood, always had a huge garden and birdwatching, especially seeing her cardinals. She was married on September 20, 1952, in Grand Rapids to Walter ‘Bud’ Prinz. He preceded Pat along with her parents and a sister, Joyce Wilhelm. Pat is loved and survived by her children, Shelley (David) Frazer of Belding, Brian (Deb) Prinz of Greenville, Robert (Kristi) Prinz of Muskegon, her grandchildren, Deanna Bogart, Allison Prinz, Chad Prinz, Brittanie (Paa Kwesi) Coleman, Adam (Jaci) Prinz, Nicole Prinz, three great grandchildren, Walter, Helen, Zhuri and two sisters, Gloria (Roger) Kelley of Hastings, Dawn Hathaway of AZ and sister-in-law Pat Nadeau of SC. Private graveside services will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids with Pastor Rob Lawrence officiating. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 1-4 PM at the Oakfield Township Hall,10300 14 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted. The family requests no flowers.
