Norman C. Trudgen, 81 of Belding, passed away on July 27, 2018 at Metron of Belding. Norman was born on April 8, 1937 in Merrill, MI, the son of John A. and Myrtle M. (Sowles) Trudgen. On September 8, 1956 he married Georgia L. Miller in Allegan and together have enjoyed over 61 years of marriage. He is a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Bradley, MI, enjoyed hunting, was a member of the NRA and in his younger years loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Norman also enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting turquoise jewelry.Norman is survived by his wife, his children; Laurie (Mike) Jones, Dennis (Betsy) Trudgen, Kendra Woodward, three grandchildren; Tony (Heidi) Jones, Kallie (James Calwise) Jones, Amanda (Stephen) Stratton, five great grandchildren, a sister; Joyce Newman of Kathleen, Florida along with many extended family and friends. Norman is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond, George, Gordon and a sister Gloria Cossairt.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 11, 2018 at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Adam Porter officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Church of Christ Missionary Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Funeral care and cremation services were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
