Mary L. Westbrook, 78, of Belding formerly of Greenville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Laurels of Carson City. Mary was born on January 28, 1940 in Greenville, the daughter of William and Clara (Melinowski) Westbrook. In earlier years she attended Greenville Schools. Mary had lived in Belding for the past several years. She had a life long love of animals and enjoyed taking care of her feline companion named “baby”. Mary enjoyed her walks around town and visiting with friends.
Mary is loved and survived by her son Herby Gould Jr. of Greenville, her siblings; Pat Fuller, William Westbrook, Jim (Linda) Westbrook, John (Angie) Westbrook all of Greenville, several nieces and nephews and her long-time friend and helper Betty Jenkins of Belding. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Arlene Johnson.Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will take place in the spring in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to Cannonsville Critters an animal rescue group in Stanton. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
