Mary Lou Mangus, 75, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Spectrum Health-Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids. Mary Lou was born on November 10, 1946, in Greenville, the daughter of Cecil and Myra (Hatch) Antcliff. She graduated from Belding High School and later worked 36 years at Electrolux. Mary Lou enjoyed quilting, working in her flower gardens and time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved her family and they meant the world to her. She attended Shiloh Community Church and had volunteered at Nice Twice in Grand Rapids. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Mary Lou was married on December 19, 1964, in Belding to Lloyd Mangus. Mary Lou is loved and survived by her husband Lloyd and their children, Kim (Scott) Masengale, and Kevin (Michelle) Mangus, grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) VanSloten, Stephanie Behrns, Abigail Mangus, and Elvis Lane Jr., step grandchildren, Melissa Embree, and Jeremy Masengale, great grandchildren, Carter Behrns, Parker Van Sloten, Addison Behrns, Clare VanSloten, and Willow Behrns, and her siblings, Janet Langridge, Phyllis Armarault, Dale Antcliff and Connie Lynn.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Art, Dick, and Randy, and two sisters, Diana and Barb.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor James Floyd of Shiloh Community Church, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
