Martha Enbody Obituary

Martha J. Enbody, 59, of Fenwick, died Thursday December 24, 2020 at home under the loving care of her family and Hospice. Martha was born on June 13, 1961 in Greenville, the daughter of Martin and Sarah (Hopkins) Jeffrey. In earlier years Martha attended Belding Area Schools. During her working years she was a licensed beautician, a massage therapist and later went back to Montcalm Community College, earning her degree as a registered nurse. Her nursing years were spent working at Metron of Greenville. She was an accomplished body builder having won several trophies in a number of state competitions. Martha had a love of people, especially children and always enjoyed being with her own children as well as being a mom to many others. She had a big love of nature, especially collecting rocks and stones. She liked to travel, with many family trips taken up north and to Mackinaw Island. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. Martha is loved and survived by her children; Zachariah Enbody, Jacob Enbody, Kayla Enbody, Thomas Enbody all of Greenville, William Enbody of Belding, Garroitte Enbody of Greenville, her grandchildren, Keegan, Aaron, Zander, Corbin, Dakota, Hunter, Isiah, Noah, Sebastian, her siblings, Robert (Betty) Krick of Belding, Martin (Carol) Jeffrey of Ionia, Larry Jeffrey of Grand Rapids, Charles Jeffrey of Cedar Springs, Julie Bradbury of Greenville and Patricia (Craig) Pahl of East Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Isaac M. Enbody, grandson Damiynn Enbody, her sisters and brother, Joyce Slayton, Alice DePue, Phyllis Jeffrey, Kenneth Krick, and Gary Jeffrey.

Due to the current COVID conditions no funeral will take place now. A time to celebrate her life and accomplishments will be held next summer at Wabasis Park in Kent County. The date and time will be announced later by Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted. Memorials may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
