Lois Tallian Obituary

 

Lois V. Tallian 92 of Rockford, formerly of Royal Oak passed away Wednesday morning March 10, 2021 at Spectrum Health-Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids. Lois was born on September 7, 1928 in Detroit, the daughter of John and Mamie ( Folgler) Leitch. She graduated from Royal Oak High School and had lived her whole life in  Royal Oak  until three years ago, then  moving to Rockford to be closer to her family. Lois was a homemaker and in earlier years enjoyed gardening.  She had a big love of family, especially her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Lois is loved and survived by her sons, Thomas ( Sue) Tallian of Belding, Richard ( Nancy) Tallian of Englewood, CO., her grandchildren, Lindsay ( Tim) Schmidt, Thomas Tallian ( Tracy Key) Sarah Tallian, Dylan Tallian, Graham Tallian and her brother, Joseph  ( Maureen) Leitch of  Royal Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband  Thomas C. Tallian, two  sisters, Dorothy  Reichow, Shirley Ott and a brother John Leitch. In keeping with family wish’s no public  funeral will be held.  A time to celebrate her life will take place in Royal Oak at a later date.  Interment will be in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Michigan. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
