Lois K. Belding

Lois K. Belding 75 of Belding passed away Thursday morning May 5, 2022, at home. Lois was born on February 4, 1947, in Standish, the daughter of Lawrence and Ethel ( Geister) Belding. She graduated from Belding High School and later attended college for nursing and cosmetology. She retired  after working many years, first for the Chrysler Corp. at the Lyons Trim Plant and later at GM in Grand Rapids. Lois enjoyed watching movies and knew all the famous men and women who starred in the countless movies she enjoyed watching. She also loved to read and was never without a good book. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 Lois is loved and survived by her children, Albert “ Budd” ( Diday) Pluskhat of Sheridan, Betsy K. Jollie of Belding, her grandchildren, Justin ( Angie) Pluskhat, Amber ( Robert) Shagun Jr., Cotee Burns, Blake ( Courtney) Burns, Joshua ( Breanne) Parcher, Brayden Burns, several grandchildren, her siblings, Mike ( Florence) Belding of Saranac and  Bonnie ( CJ) McQueen of Belding. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ethel ( Rector) Belding,  two daughters, Vanessa Lee Pluskhat in infancy, Sherri Burns, her brother, Ronald Belding and her sister Teena Dines.

 Funeral services will be Noon Wednesday May 11, 2022, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Private interment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorials may be given to West Michigan Hospice.
