Linda L (Spears) Krause

Linda L. Krause, 71, of Saranac, passed away Monday evening, March 21, 2022, at Mission Point, Greenville. Linda was born on May 3, 1950, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Clarence, Jr. and Mary (Scarberry) Spears.  She graduated from Forest Hills High School in Grand Rapids, with the Class of 1969.  Linda married William R. Krause in Grand Rapids, on October 19, 1984.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed bird watching, and had a good sense of humor.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Linda is loved and survived by her husband, William, her children, Jack (Lisa) Nowack of Brooklyn, and Jennifer (Don) Fockler of Alma,  eight grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren, her siblings, Ellen Kellogg of Belleville, Louise Spears of Big Rapids, Gary (Liz) Spears of Grand Rapids, Paula (Mike) Volkers of Zeeland, Clara (Dave) Hippensteel of Howard City, and Gloria (Chris) Wiersma of Grand Rapids, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister in infancy, Donna.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Interment will take place later at Cornell Township Cemetery, in Buckley, Michigan. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home, where funeral care has been entrusted.
