Lee Roy Conklin

Lee Roy Conklin 66 of Hastings formerly Greenville passed away unexpectedly  Monday afternoon August 30, 2021 at Spectrum Health Pennock in Hastings.  Lee Roy was born on March 22, 1955 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy ( McAfee) Conklin. He graduated from Central Montcalm High School with the Class of 1972. He enjoyed deer hunting and riding four wheelers. He liked history, especially reading about  the Civil War. He had raised  and sold German Shepherd puppies  in Greenville for several years. He was married on December 7, 1975 in Fenwick to Regina Emmons. Lee Roy is survived by his wife Regina and their son, Ken ( Karen) Conklin of Belding, his grandchildren, Erika Conklin ( Andrew) of Detroit Austyn Conklin of Belding, his siblings, Karron ( Phil) Bliss, Kevin Conklin both of Fenwick and Louise Douget of Louisiana. Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Rick, Kenneth,  Larry and a nephew Toby. Graveside funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday September 4, 2021 at Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick with Pastor Larry Nalett officiating. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's  Assoc. Envelopes  will be available  the service and or funeral home.
