Laurie Blair Obituary

Laurie Jo Blair, 62, of Belding, died Monday morning, September 7, 2020 at home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Michigan. Laurie was born on May 1, 1958 in Ionia, the daughter of Myron and Iva (Main) Wiggins.

Laurie enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, cooking, and shopping. She especially enjoyed family gatherings! She had a huge collection of cows and had decorated her home with Native American Art. Laurie was married on August 13, 1977 in Belding to Patrick Blair. 

She is loved and survived by her husband Patrick and their children; Josh (Crystal) Blair, Jessica Jasin and Jeremy Blair all of Belding, grandchildren; Alvin, Olivia and Jaxon, siblings; Mikey Wiggins of Shepherd, Dale (Maxine) Wiggins of Vestaburg, Wes (Mae) Wiggins of Saranac, Nona DeYoung of Crystal, Larry Wiggins of Mt. Pleasant, Linda (Steve) Wiggins of Shepherd, Danny Wiggins of Stanton, Jamie (Tim) Brown, Julie (Gene) Getts all of Belding, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Ilene.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2020 at Center Street Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer Lien officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Committal prayers will follow at Palo Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the B Foundation or the family. Envelopes will be available at church and the funeral home.
