Kenneth R. “Ken” Shindorf, 71 of Belding passed away Saturday morning August 20, 2022, at the Laurels of Fulton near Perrinton, MI. Ken was born on October 1, 1950, in Belding, the son of William and Ida (Sigsby) Shindorf. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1969 and in earlier years had worked at LaVan’s in Belding and later retired from Grand Rapids Controls in Rockford. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph/St. Mary Catholic Church. He had a big love of family and enjoyed catching up with his many relatives. Ken will be greatly missed and always remembered with a smile. He is loved and survived by his nephew, Scott Shindorf (Jodi) of Greenville, two great nephews and several extended family members of the Shindorf and Sigsby families. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Anna.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11: 00 AM Saturday August 27, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9041 Krupp Road, Belding, Mi. 48809, with Father Jim Wyse presiding. Visitation will be one hour before mass at church. Committal prayers will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Special Olympics-Area 7. Envelopes will be available at the church and or Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the care team of Home Health & Hospice of Genesee County, especially Kimberly Hansen for the loving care given to Ken.
