Keith E. Harrison, 96 of Belding, passed away Friday evening, December 10, 2021, at Mission Point of Greenville. Keith was born on May 20, 1925 in Ionia, the son of Edward and Myra (Horton) Harrison. He attended Ionia Public Schools, and proudly served with the U.S. Army during World War II, fighting in the Pacific. After working at White Consolidated Industries in Greenville for several years he worked for the City of Ocala, Florida in their Public Works department, retiring after several years of service.
Keith enjoyed camping, had built many homes, and enjoyed doing missionary church work. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Fred Guernsey, his wife Evelyn, a brother Kenneth, his sisters Margaret, Kathryn, Marie, Carroll, and two grandsons. He is survived by his sons Donald Harrison of Kent City, Dale (Debbie) Harrison of Belding, Michael (Karen) Harrison of New Hampshire, Carl (Teresa) Harrison of California. Keith is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes no public funeral will take place. Burial will take place privately at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida. Memorials may be given to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral care has been entrusted by Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
