Katherine M Loucks

Katherine “Kathy” M. Loucks, 60, of Comstock Park, formerly of Belding, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  Katherine was born July 23, 1961, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of John and Victoria (Hoppough) Loucks.  She graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1980. In her working years, Kathy had worked at Meijer’s in Greenville and later retired from Amway Corp. after 28 years in customer service. She had recently worked at Standale Home Studios in Standale. Kathy enjoyed traveling and puzzles. She liked listening to music and going on road trips, especially to Las Vegas, and Madeira  Beach, Florida, and just enjoying life. She had a love of family and will be greatly missed.

Kathy is loved and survived by her sisters, Deb Loucks of Comstock Park, Mary Loucks and Diane Alexander, her  brother Mike (Hollie Shephard) Loucks all  of Belding, nieces and nephews, Fred J. Clark, Matthew (Alyssia) Clark, Mariah (Brian) Rush, Cassandra Edmonds, Joshua Edmonds (Heather Hammond), Eric Smalley, Hillary Smalley, Daniel  Alexander, and Zachary DeGroat, great nieces and nephews, Wyatt Clark, Lochlynn Rush, Grayson Edmonds, Keegan Edmonds, Hailey Kroesing, Makenzie Kroesing, Hunter and Paislee Packard, Amelia Draper, Octavia Draper, Lacey Smith, Madelyn Alexander, and Raychel Alexander, and special friend Ron Kremers.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister in infancy.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2022,  at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the funeral.  Inurnment will be in Orleans Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
