Julie Marie Colvin-Shoemaker

Julie M Colvin-Shoemaker 35 of Rockford died unexpectedly Friday morning October 23, 2020 at home. Julie was born on May 7, 1985 in East Grand Rapids, the daughter of Aaron and Tamala ( Jones) Heintzelman. Julie grew up near Big Rapids and attended public school there. Always a stay at home mom, Julie had a big love and concern for her family, especially her children. She enjoyed music, drawing, camping  and just about anything that involved being outside in nature. She had strong opinions and  maybe was a bit stubborn, but Julie could always be counted on to help anyone, always had time to talk and even if she disagreed with you, her love never stopped.  She will be greatly missed by all. She was married on September 29, 2017 in Grand Rapids to Kelly J. Shoemaker Jr.

Julie is loved and survived by her husband Kelly and her children; Nevaeh Ann Colvin, Skiler Marie Colvin, Austin Patrick Colvin, her siblings, Ashley ( Tony) Lemmen of Grand Rapids, Harley Phenix of Belding, Christy Heintzelman of Grattan, her mother Tamala Colvin of Big Rapids, her adopted father John Colvin of Cedar Springs, her in laws; Kelly ( Coleen) Shoemaker Sr. of Cedar Springs, her grandparents Lourie Heintzelman of Grattan,  Joseph ( Nancy) Colvin of Bremen, IN., Nita Heintzelman of Belding,  many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Aydan Colvin, her father, and grandparents; Alvin Heintzelman and Bobby Jones. Visitation will be Wednesday October 28, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday October 29, 2020 at Blythefield Memory Gardens, 6200 Brewer Ave.  NE Belmont, MI. 49306 with Pastor Clint Abbott officiating. Memorials may be given to the family.
