Joan A. Braman, 80, of Belding, passed away Tuesday evening, August 18, 2020 at home under loving care of her family and Elara Hospice. Joan was born on March 14, 1940 in Belding, the daughter of Frank W. and Lena M. (Graham) Yeasley.
She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1959. Joan was a member of Jaycetts and Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid at church. She loved to knit, enjoyed car races and helping her husband Larry with his business Modern Heating and was a licensed beautician. She married Larry Braman on January 8, 1960 in Key West, FL and he survives along with her children; Brenda (Don) Canter, Marsha (Mark) McQuillan all of Belding and Angela Braman of Ionia, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, siblings; Linda Johnson and Gary Yeasley all of Belding. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter; Carmen House, brothers; Frank and Gale and granddaughter; Faith. Joan will be missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 21, 2020 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Belding with Pastor Robert Wagner officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Interment will be in Easton Township Cemetery. Due to the executive orders issued by the governor during visitation and the funeral we will observe social distancing guidelines and facial coverings are required. Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church and the Belding B Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the church or at the funeral home.
