Janis K. Fairbanks 73 of Lowell died Friday morning June 26, 2020 at Green Acres in Lowell. Janis was born on December 25, 1946 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Benjamin & Florence ( Carpenter) Fairbanks. Janis had lived and worked in Alaska for 35 years moving back to Michigan after the death of her husband Bill in 2014. She enjoyed sled dog races and drawing. Janis is survived by her children; Yvonne Morris ( Jim Steele) of Lake Odessa, Michael ( Beverly) Brownell of Belding, her grandchildren; Drew Morris of Greenville, Elizabeth ( Ben) Mann of East Lansing, Jessica ( Paul) Haines of Caledonia Jennifer Brownell, Sarah Brownell, Megan Brownell all of Belding and one great grandchild; Cameron Haines. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jack. In keeping with her wish’s cremation has taken place and no funeral or visitation will be held. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
