Jaclyn B. Stowell, 72, of Orleans Township, Belding, passed Monday afternoon, September 20, 2021. Jaclyn was born on February 19, 1949, in Ionia, the daughter of Ralph G. and Maysel L. (Noddins) Miller. Jaclyn graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1966. Following graduation, she worked in medical records at the Belding Hospital, and later worked for the Amway Corporation as a relocation specialist. Jaclyn was a past president of the Dildine 4-H Club and of the West Michigan Relocation Council. She enjoyed biking and walking. She was married on September 10, 1966, in Ionia to Rance R. Stowell. Jaclyn is loved and survived by her husband Rance and their children, Joseph Stowell, of Charlotte; David (Peggy) Stowell, of Holt; grandchildren, Jayda, Emma, and her brother, Jerry (Kathy) Miller, of Gowen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Orleans Township Cemetery with Pastor Ron Bergin of the Ionia Church of the Nazarene officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at noon at the Ionia Church of the Nazarene at 83 E. Tuttle Rd in Ionia. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association or the National Arbor Day Foundation. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, where funeral care has been entrusted.
