Jack R. Curtis, 86, of Belding, died Friday evening, May 8, 2020, at Spectrum Health Fuller Campus, under the loving care of Spectrum Health Hospice. Jack was born on November 19, 1933 in Greenville, the son of John and Hazel (Buckner) Curtis. He graduated from Greenville High School and later proudly served in the United States Army. After the Army he worked for and retired from Cedar Springs Tool and Die. In his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking and proved to be quite talented. Jack enjoyed the outdoors, especially lawn mowing. Jack came home to Michigan to be closer to family after spending his retirement years in Eustis, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara (Rasmussen) Curtis and two sisters: Virginia M. Merritt and Morine L. Anderson. He is loved and survived by his children; Diane Myers of Colorado, John Curtis of North Carolina, Mary ( Richard) Harrell of Belding, Lori ( Ernie) Harpine, Kathryn ( Tom) Walsh all of PA., his step children; Kathryn ( Scott) Embody, Bill Johnson both of Michigan, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jack will be forever remembered and loved by his family and anyone who knew him. In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. Memorials may be given to the family or a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
