Herbert M. Corey Sr. 73 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, passed away Tuesday morning April 13, 2021 in Grand Rapids. Herbert was born on August 4, 1947 in Greenville, the son of Flavel and Onalee ( Van Brocklin) Corey. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. and had retired from the State of Michigan as a corrections officer. Herbert is survived by his children, Herbert Corey Jr., Eric Corey, Chad Corey, Shane Corey, Megan Corey and their families. No public funeral will take place. Interment will be in Easton Township Cemetery.
