Gayla Elayne Noe, age 74, of Orleans Twp., passed away at her granddaughter’s home in Grand Rapids on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was born in Greenville, MI on February 24, 1950, the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Pierson) Hodson. Gayla grew up in Orleans and was a graduate of Belding High School in 1968. She loved being a farmer’s wife. Gayla was a loving wife, and a doting mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family, and especially enjoyed teaching her grandchildren new things. Gayla’s faith in Christ was the center of her life. As a devoted Christian, she played an active role in the life of her church. Gayla was tremendously steadfast in everything she did. She was humble and seldom complained. The family wishes to express their firm confidence and joy that Gayla’s soul is now in the presence of her loving Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
