Frederic Allen Ditmar

Frederic A. Ditmar, 44, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Carson City. Fred was born on November 15, 1975 in Grand Rapids, the son of William F. and Edith L. (Berry) Ditmar.

He  was raised in the Grand Rapids area and in earlier years had worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting guns and knives. Fred enjoyed having pets,  the more unusual they were the better. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He married Ashley M. Edwards on May 16, 2009 in Ionia. Fred is  loved and survived by his wife Ashley and his children; Autumn Lee Balcer and Megan Jean Ditmar both of Grand Rapids, close friends; Ron Antcliff and Wes Cazier. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service. Committal prayers will follow in Greene Cemetery, Belding. Memorials may be given to the family.
