Eugene “Gene” W. Ingraham, 84, of rural Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019 at home under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Gene was born on February 22, 1935 in Belding, the son of Wilbur and Ione (Hoffmaster) Ingraham.
He was a long time resident of the Belding Greenville area and retired from Extruded Metals after 48 years of service. Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the deer and turkeys all around his home and time spent at his cabin at Vogel Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Roba and Anna Ingraham, wife Alice, daughter Vada Rose Harrington, grandson Eric J. Harrington and daughter-in-law Denise Adams.
Gene is loved and survived by his children; Terri (Gordon) Wagner, Tommy K. Ingraham all of Greenville, Danny E. Ingraham of Alaska, Ann (Greg) Dean of Greenville, Michael Adams of Belding, Lorrenda (Rich) Ellsworth of Orleans and Manda Ingraham of Muskegon Heights, 18 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with his grandson Pastor Mark A. Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Sunny Hill Cemetery, Palo. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Following the funeral a luncheon will take place at the Belding American Legion. Memorials may be given to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
