Ellery " Bud" Hull Obituary

Ellery “Bud” Hull Jr. aged 70 of Orleans passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 6, 2018 on the shore of his beloved Long Lake in Orleans. Bud was born on March 1, 1948, the son of Ellery Sr. and Nonie (Bradley) Hull.

Bud graduated from Lansing Eastern High School with the Class of 1966 and then served two years in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a master plumber in the union. He has always lived at Long Lake.

He is loved and survived by his children: Douglas W. Hull of Las Vegas and Rycki Hull Hill of Traverse City. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and his longtime companion, Nancy Bearer.

In keeping with Bud’s wishes a non-traditional send off will be held. This will be a celebration of Bud’s life. We gather from 6:00-8:00 PM followed by military honors. Dress is extremely casual lake wear. This will occur Friday, July 13, 2018 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing.

Memorials may be given to either Las Vegas Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse or the Inland Seas Educational Association.
