Duane L. Post 78 of Belding died Monday morning November 22, 2021, at home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Duane was born on November 8, 1943, in Belding, the son of William and Ida ( Rosene) Post. He attended Greene School in his younger years and later graduated from Belding High School. He served in the United States Navy and had worked at Jordan Manufacturing in Belding for several years. Duane was an excellent mechanic. He liked working on cars, something that started at a young age and stayed with him his whole life. He could fix anything. He was always ready for a ride on his Harley and enjoyed the many motorcycle trips he had taken. Duane will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda ( Spencer), his brother Archie, three sisters, Beth Ann Douglas, Marian Post and Betty Vaughn. Duane is loved and survived by his children, Nannett Post of Belding Tina ( Tim) Johnson of Greenville, Sheila Post of Shiloh, Bill Post of Orleans, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 nieces, 4 nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday November 26, 2021, at Orleans Township Cemetery with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the service and Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
