Dorothy Irene Hulliberger 87 of Belding passed away unexpectedly Monday October 31, 2022, at home. Dorothy was born on July 17, 1935, near Trufant, the daughter of John and Irene (Peasley) Christophersen. She attended Greenville Public Schools and had in earlier years had worked at the Belding Christian Nursing Home, later at the Meijer store in Greenville, and then at Amway. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, reading, Nascar and watching the Tigers. She made the best cookies and was a huge fan of John Wayne. She will be greatly missed. Dorothy is loved and survived by her children, Tom (Cindy) Hulliberger of Saranac, Mike Hulliberger of Lowell, Jeff Hulliberger of Belding, Denny (Cynthia) Hulliberger of Ionia, her grandchildren, Kassi (Carrie) Fisher, Ken Hulliberger, Kris (Mary) Hulliberger, Joseph (Kristeen) Hulliberger, Paul Hulliberger, Jennifer (Jon) McNinch, Jeanne (Tim) Brown, Joshua (Tawni) Conner, Amber Schelling, Kristi Conner, 16 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and her siblings, Mabel (Arley) Kent of Coral and John (Lillian) Christophersen of Sidney. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken, two grandchildren, Jessica Hulliberger, Christopher Hulliberger and her siblings, Elsie Tyler, Helen McMeeken and Gilbert Christophersen.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday November 4, 2022, at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding with Rev. Richard Boshoven officiating. No visitation will take place. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the B Foundation. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
