David Hagadus Obituary

David Michael Hagadus, age 51, of Ionia, passed away at home on January 22, 2024, under the loving care of his family and Corewell Health Hospice. He was born on September 2, 1972, in Greenville, the son of Mary (Cole) and Gary Brail.

David enjoyed playing video games, music, and singing in his band, Project Apocalypse.  He was a big hockey fan and enjoyed watching the Detroit RedWings play. He worked for a few years at Indian Summer making juice and cider, before his health forced him to retire.

He is loved and survived by his mother, his life partner; Jane Shattuck, his sisters; Angie (Andy) Madura of Wyoming, MI, Pamela Born of Florida, Christina Hagadus of Texas, along with many other extended family and friends.  David was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Lee Jourdan.

Funeral services for David will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Noon, at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, 203 S. Pleasant St, Belding, with pastor Jennifer Lien from Center Street Free Methodist Church presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
