Daniel J Mier

Daniel J. Mier, 36, of Ionia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday July 19, 2020 in Grand Rapids. Daniel was born on January 9, 1984 in Ionia, the son of Dan and Roxanne (Winnie) Mier.

Dan attended Ionia High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing and car races. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is loved and survived by his parents; Dan and Roxanne, siblings; Robert (Shannon) Mier of Ionia and extended siblings; Roshanda (Greg) Rashid of Kalamazoo, Sonya Bowling of Ionia, his nephew and nieces; Camden Mier, Mia Mier, Rave Mier, grandparents; Ray (Joyce) Winnie of Greenville, Rosemary Mellema of Ionia and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Carl and Violet Mier.

In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place. A time to celebrate Daniel’s life  will be Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1-3 PM at the “Auction Barn” M66 and Woods Rd.  6076 N. State Rd., Orleans, MI 48865. Memorials may be given to Ionia Area Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the service and the funeral  home.
