July 8, 1947 ~ March 28, 2021 (age 73)



Daniel “Dan” E. Jenson, 73, of Venice, Florida formerly of Belding, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at home under the loving care of his family and Tidewell Hospice. Dan was born on July 8, 1947 in Belding, the son of  Ray and Adell (Gleason) Jenson.

He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1965. After graduation Dan proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. In his working years Dan worked for 25 years at  Belding Tool and Machine and later at Federal Mogul in Greenville retiring in 2010. Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing and  loved spending time at the cabin he owned with Teague Breimayer up north near Luther. Dan enjoyed people, liked spending time with friends at the Belding American Legion and enjoyed happy hour at Long Lake. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Dan is survived by his wife Susan and his children; Dan Regan of Belding, Joe Jenson of Ionia and Rachael Jensen of Belding, grandchildren; Aneysa, Rylee, Caiden and Callie, siblings; Susan Towne of VA, Beth Jenson (Denny Mehner) of AK, Steve (Judy) Jenson and Jeff (Eva) Jenson all of Michigan and lots of wonderful nieces, nephews and friends in the Belding area. Dan was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dan’s life, with luncheon and military honors will be 1:00 PM on Saturday May 22, 2021 at the Belding American Legion. Inurnment will be in River Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be given to a charity of one’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the Legion at the time of service and Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
