Dan Bunce

Daniel “Dan” Bunce, 35, of Sheridan, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2020 from injuries sustained in a car accident.  Dan was a lot of things; he was a husband, father, brother, son, nephew and a good friend.  If anyone needed help with anything, Dan was there, helping if he could. He loved to tinker on things, try to be a handyman, ride motorcycles, play with RC cars, and go fishing.  He was selfless and had a huge heart. Most of all though, he cherished being a father, he loved every minute he spent with his kids. On July 14, 2017, he married Valerie Johnson and although they were only married a couple years, she has had a crush on Dan since she was 14, and they were looking forward to many more years together. Dan will be truly missed by all who knew him. 

Dan is loved and survived by his wife; Valerie, his children; Dominick, Elaina, Daniel, and Kimberly, his mother; Sheryl (Carl Durkin) Bunce, his siblings; Tabetha (Taylor) Everest, Jolisa Dennis, Karisa (Patrick) O’Donnel, CJ (Amy) Durkin, his grandma; Mable Foss, his nephews; Vick Jr, Treyton and Austin, nieces; Amelia, Jazmyn, Evelynn, Destinie and Alyjah, uncles; Rick (Miranda) Foss, Ron Foss, his aunt; Kelley (Jonathan) Wilson, brother in law; Erik Sturm, sister in law; LaNessa (Dustin) Williams, mother in law; Kirby Johnson; his Best friend; Bruce Marsh Jr., and many cousins. Preceding Dan in death are his grandparents; Casey and Sandy Bunce,  Lewis Foss, father in law; Raymond Johnson, and his best friend; Travis Moore.  

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4pm-7pm at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dan may be directed to Dan’s family as they cope with his sudden passing, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
