Obituary

Dale A. Nichoson 51, of Belding passed away Friday April 8, 2022 at Mission Point of Greenville. Dale was born on August 28, 1970, in Belding, son of Eugene and Carol(Ford) Nichoson.  He graduated from Belding High School and had later worked as an assembler at a local factory. Dale enjoyed collecting movies, rock & roll music, cooking, sports and walking the family dogs along the trails in Belding. Even faced with serious health challenges, Dale maintained a chatty, friendly demeanor.

 

 He will be greatly missed by his family and all his friends at Mission Point. He is loved and survived by his children: Kylie Somers of Belding, Dylan Nichoson of Mt. Pleasant, Skylar Nichoson of Belding, his grandchildren: Hailie, Jackson, Gracelyn and his former wife and mother of his children, Sherri Nichoson of Belding. His parents, Eugene and Carol Nichoson of Rockford, brothers: Robert Nichoson of Rockford, Gordon (Virginia) Nichoson of Belding, Terry Nichoson of Cannonsburg and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Nichoson. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation with his family will be Wednesday April 13, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. A time to celebrate his life will take place at a later date & will be posted on his children’s Facebook page. Inurnment will be in  Bostwick Lake Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Spectrum Health Hospice,  the staff at Mission Point of Greenville and Dale’s roommate Larry. Everyone took such good care of Dale and always went the extra mile for his comfort.
