Daisy Liggett Obituary

Daisy M. Liggett, 75, of Belding, passed away Wednesday night, August 18, 2021, at the Laurels of Kent in Lowell. Daisy was born on May 8, 1946, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Phillips) Gale.

Daisy worked largely within the healthcare industry as a housekeeper. She enjoyed visiting stores, playing bingo, going to church dinners, and being with friends. Daisy thrived in social environments and was known as a social butterfly. Daisy is loved and survived by children; Vicki (Al) Westberg of Belding, Dawn Liggett, of Virginia, and Rodney Liggett of Virginia, her sister Pauline Williams along with six grandkids, 11 great grandkids, along many other extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald, a twin sister; Ruby Gale, her other siblings; JT Shelton, Mary Hunt, Fronnie Turnich, Leroy Gale and a grandson Joseph Lotoski.

Following Daisy’s wishes, no formal ceremony will take place. Memorial contributions in memory of Daisy may be given to the family.
