Prior to that she worked for Listening Ear in Belding providing one on one care for the disabled. She was married on December 19, 1980, in Greenville to Joseph Maharry. Constance is loved and survived by her husband Joseph and their children, Monte ( Trisia) Newland, Michael ( Nicole) Case, Mary Maharry, Athena Maharry all of Greenville, Naomi Maharry Joe-Seth Maharry both of Belding, several grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her siblings, Richard ( Sharan) Newland of Cedar Springs, Robert ( Juanita) Newland of Lyons and Edward Newland of Lakeview.
