Carl E. Sisson

Carl E. Sisson 73 of Belding died Friday February 5, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Carl was born on June 21, 1947 in Greenville the son of Eddie and Grace ( Lincoln) Sisson.  Carl had retired in 1996 after 30 years of work at General Motors in Lansing. In earlier years he enjoyed hunting. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, painting and was always ready for a game of golf. He was a member of the Living Faith Family Church near Turk Lake. He was married on November 24, 1973  in Greenville to Beth Bellanger and she  preceded Carl along with his parents, a sister Marjorie, three brothers, Jack, Ervin, Jerry and a brother-in-law, Raymond Pollock.  Carl will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is loved and survived by his daughters; Carmon (Scott) Ferman, Janice (Brian) Vandenberg, Tabitha (Jeremy) Pennington, all of Belding,  Carla Sisson (Norm Kaminski) of Holton, grandchildren, Christian Ferman, Rafael Pastrano, Matthew (Mackenzie) Ferman, Sarah Vandenberg, Justin Pennington, Ethan Pennington, Olivia Pennington, Coleton Pennington, Ella Pennington, Michael Pennington, Kage Kaminski, Luke Kaminski, , great grandchildren, Lily Ferman, Brayden Ferman, his sister, Lynne Pollock of Arizona and sister in law, Valerie Sisson of TX. A public visitation will be Monday February 8, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Private  funeral services will be held later for his family with Pastor Linda Dyke of Living Faith Family Church officiating.  Interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorials for Carl may be given to Living Faith Family Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
