Barbara Sue O’Neill, 64, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Spectrum Health United Memorial in Greenville. Barbara was born January 20, 1958, the daughter of Russell and Nancy (Denton) Rose. She graduated from Grandville High School with the Class of 1976.
Barbara was a loving and caring person who never shied away from a good time. She enjoyed going on camping trips in the Manistee National Forest, visiting Lake Michigan and trips to the casino with Tim. Most importantly to Barb, was family. Her joy in life was being around the ones she loved. Her kids were important to her, but nothing compared to the joy of being with her grandchildren. She delighted in every minute she spent with them.
Barbara is loved and survived by her dear friend and loving companion Tim O’Neill, her children Jessica (Al) Martinez, Courtney (Shawn Venneman) Tulppo and Bryce Tulppo, all of Belding, and Jennifer Rowland of Grand Rapids, grandchildren Lily, Hunter, Carter, Hailey, Landon, Cinco, Mia, Chase, William, Leo and Justine, Kyrsten, Ethan and Jaden, and her brothers and sisters, Cheryl Didion of Walker, Kathy Walijewski of Grand Rapids, Russ (Gale) Rose of Grandville, Steve Rose of Middleville, and Terry Rose of Standale, along with many other extended family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Dan Rose and Ken Rose.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Memorials may be given to the Belding B Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
