Barbara Jo Geiger

Barbara Jo. Geiger, 64, of Lakeview, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview. Barbara was born on September 20, 1956 in Greenville, the daughter of Lester A.  and Kathryn R. (Dehn) Geiger.

She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1975 and later attended Grand Rapids Community College earning an Associates Degree.  Barbara was currently employed at Federal Mogul in Greenville. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandkids and had a love of family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

Barbara is loved and survived by her children; Benjamin J. (Deanna) Veneklase of Fremont, Bradley J. Veneklase of New Jersey and Christopher W. (Katie) Vaneklase of Grand Rapids, grandchildren; Ray, Amelia and Alec, mother; Kathryn Geiger of Greenville,  siblings; Alfonse Geiger of TN, Beth (Daniel) Olsen of Belding, Lesley K. (Douglas) Alles of Greenville and Robert (Judy) Geiger of Belding. She was preceded in death by her father.

A time of visitation will be 2:00-5:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
