Audrey Yvonne Race

Audrey Yvonne Race, 58 of Belding, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at her sister’s home in Belding under the loving care of hospice and family. Audrey, the daughter of James and Jeanette (Orvis) Hulliberger was born October 5, 1964, in Belding. She attended Belding Area Schools and Montcalm Community College.  Audrey enjoyed camping, traveling, thrift shops, and yard sales. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids, who kept her young. She will be remembered as a person who always worried about others before herself.

Audrey is loved and survived by her children, Lance Race of Belding, Lee Race of Stanton, and Rosa Cruz of Belding; grandchildren, Roran, Madison, Reagan, Eleasha, and Gracie; siblings, Rodney Jones, Deb (Dale) Harrison, Kevin (Arlene) Hulliberger, Forrest Hulliberger, and Kelley (Laurie) Hulliberger; her sister-in-law, Kim Jones, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that were dear to her.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dennis Jones, and sister-in-law, Eileen Hulliberger.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Graveside Memorial service will be held on Friday June 9, 2023, at Otisco Township Cemetery, at 1 PM.  A celebration luncheon at the Harrison home, 810 S. Front Street, immediately following the service.  Memorials may be given to the B Foundation. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, where cremation services have been entrusted.
