Amy Lyn Kline-Thompson 33 of Belding died unexpectedly Saturday September 30, 2023, at home. Amy was born on January 8, 1990, in Greenville, the daughter of Dean and Melissa (Ellsworth) Kline. She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 2008. Amy was baptized at and attended the Center Street Free Methodist Church in Belding. Amy was truly a gift from God, she was a loving daughter, sister, and mom. She had an infectious smile, was kind, loving, helpful, creative and had a love of family and friends. She enjoyed doing crafts, painting, and baking. Her son Huntyr was her world and she loved being a mom. Words cannot describe the pain that we feel with her death. Amy will always be remembered and loved for the wonderful person she was. We all were truly blessed to have Amy be a part of our lives. She is loved and survived by her parents, Dean and Melissa Kline of Belding, her son Huntyr Thompson, his father Scott Thompson of Mecosta, her brother, Kevin (Ashley) Kline and their children, Elijah, Isaiah, Ezekiel of Lowell, her grandmother, Patsy Kline of Ionia, her aunts and uncles, Lori (Scott) Dehnart of Stanton, Mark (Julie) Ellsworth of Sidney, Richard (Alicia) Ellsworth of Stanton, Ronda Kline of Ionia, special cousin and friend, Sara Clevenger of Stanton, Scott’s family, father and mother in law Carl (Kay) Thompson of Mecosta, sisters in law Michelle (Russ) Nelson of Remus, Lindsey (Leonard) Bowers of Howard City, Brandi Thompson of NC, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her two canine friends, Buddy and Nitro.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday October 5, 2023, at the Center Street Free Methodist Church, Belding with Pastor Byron Davey officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the church. After the funeral a luncheon will be held at the church. Committal prayers will follow the luncheon at Otisco Township Cemetery, Belding. Instead of flowers, please consider a memorial to the family to help with the sudden loss of Amy. Envelopes will be available at the church or Johnson-Feuerstein funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
