Adam J. Reeves

Adam  J. Reeves, 50, of Portland, formerly of Belding passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Adam was born January 13, 1971, in Grand Rapids, the son of Paul and Renee (Olger) Reeves. He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1989, and later worked in construction.  He worked for Erhardt Construction for 23 years.  Adam was a volunteer with the Belding Fire Department, proudly serving for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, and woodworking. Adam also was a great help with the set construction for the Portland Civic Players. He was married on December 6, 2008, in Belding to Laurie Tichvon. Adam will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Adam is loved and survived by his wife, Laurie and their children, Tyler Tichvon (Ashlie Foster), of Grand Ledge; Logan Reeves, of Portland; his father, Paul Reeves, of Belding; his brother Aaron and Amy Rydahl-Reeves, of Belding; his grandmother, Ruth Nelson, of Rockford; and many special nieces, nephews, fellow members of the Belding Fire Department, and his many friends in Belding and Portland.
Adam was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents; Carl and Clarice Reeves, Elmer Olger and Gene Nelson. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday November 27, 2021, at Shiloh Community Church. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Following the funeral, a luncheon will be held at the church. Memorials may be given to the family, envelopes will be available at church and Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, where funeral care has been entrusted.
